Best coffee we've had in BC (2 weeks travelling so far); delicious pastries; and friendly service

Super delicious chorizo burrito, latte and cinnamon bun. Couldn’t resist! Awesome views.

Nice interior design and super comfy bed!! We also appreciated the visitor's handbook ! This is a perfect place to sleep/relax after a rocky ferry ride!

I stayed at jags for a week. It was beautiful views, very clean and modern rooms and great service! The only downside is laundry is from 3-8pm but if you plan your day properly you can make it work!:)

We ate here three mornings in a row because the food is so good! The scones and cookies are amazing and the breakfasts (I had the breakfast sandwich every time) are really hearty and delicious. They also have a great selection of specialty coffees. The service is fast and friendly.

It's always a hit or miss when staying at accommodations in small communities, but this place is a HIT! It's also one of the few places open during the winter, close to the Sandspit airport. There are also great views of the water. The rooms are modern and cozy. I really liked that even though they are not kitchenettes, I had a few plates, glasses and cutlery for the takeout I brought back. The 49th Parallel coffee pods and high quality tea in the room was also a nice touch. The coffee shop was the only place I saw serving espresso in the Sandspit, Daajing Giids, Skidegate area, during the winter months. They have amazing coffee and food! I had an Americano and a Chorizo Burrito, and both were really nice. They really packed that burrito! It was nice to see how busy it was, and it's a place where the locals like to gather and chat. It was great vibes and great people people behind the counter. I can't wait to visit again, next time hopefully for vacation.

I rate both the rooms and the cafe at 5 stars. The burrito was particularly tasty, and the shop has a nice ambience. Prices are reasonable too. There is a reason this place can get fairly busy. Rooms were clean, cozy, with a quality private shower/bath. Staff were friendly too. I recommend stopping by for breakfast/brunch or staying here overnight!

Was at JAGS a couple of weeks ago as a part of a group. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The cafe/bake shop is excellent...really good coffee, and super baked goods. I made a habit of buying an extra scone or cinnamon bun for the road. A great view that often includes rainbows and whales.
